Although my main areas of interest are financing, banking, accounting, international management and foreign trade, I also supervise thesis projects that can be ascribed to other fields (e.g. health management, real estate).

Currently, I am particularly interested in topics related to business models and business model management, digitalization and digital transformation, digital entrepreneurship as well as higher education management and economics.

That said, I favour topics that are at the interface of the above mentioned fields of interest: FinTech, LegalTech, PropTech, crypto-based business models etc.

Methodologically, I prefer research projects which apply one or more of the following approaches:

• Mathematical simulation (e.g. spreadsheet modelling)
• Conceptual-theoretical construction and derivation (e.g. business case development)
• Hermeneutical interpretation (e.g. regulatory/legal impact assessments)
• Assessment and observation (e.g. systematic literature reviews, systematic web reviews)

Other approaches are possible.
